Class Description
Light Contact is a modern kickboxing discipline practiced around the world, combining the precision of martial arts with the flow and rhythm of continuous sparring. It emphasizes control, timing, and clean technique while maintaining a steady pace that challenges both body and mind.
Training sessions are active and engaging. Students practice striking combinations, movement, and defensive transitions through partner drills, pad work, and controlled sparring. Each class includes strength and conditioning elements that develop endurance, agility, and coordination. You will learn to maintain rhythm, accuracy, and balance while moving fluidly with your opponent.
What sets Light Contact apart is its dynamic flow and technical focus. Unlike disciplines centered only on power, here precision, timing, and control are key. What You Need to Know

Every class is designed to keep you active, engaged, and improving at your own pace. Sessions begin with a brief salutation ceremony, followed by warmup exercises that include functional fitness drills. Depending on the day, training may focus on technique, partner drills, or conditioning circuits like HIIT. Training is barefoot and paired with upbeat background music to maintain energy and short breaks are included to hydrate and refocus during training. Classes usually include sparring, adjusted to your experience level, but you are never forced to join. The instructor guides each exercise, adapting it to your level. With consistent practice, you will develop flow, precision, control, and progressively master more advanced kickboxing techniques in a dynamic and encouraging environment.

For your first class, wear comfortable workout clothes. We provide spare protective gear so you can safely try the first drills. The instructor will advise on the required protective gear for regular training.

Light Contact classes take place every Friday from 19:00 to 20:45. We understand it can be tricky to arrive right on time after work, so a few minutes’ grace is fine, but we recommend arriving about 10 minutes early to settle in and get the most out of your session — otherwise, be prepared to do thee pushups for every minute you’re late!
